Today I saw this sentence by accident, which is thought-provoking. Now I am a college student, after getting along with my roommates for nearly four months, I especially miss my old friends who are so kind and warm-hearted. Compared to my old buddies, the so-called“friends” seem to be strangers to some degree. Why the relationship become so embarrassing? From my perspective, as the sentence says, lack of understanding and forgiveness may contribute to it. We are sometimes too selfish and jealous of others' achievements. Besides, we pay so much attention to others that we tend to ignore who we are and what we really need. I always complain that I devote a lot to our so-called “friendship” but why you still treat me so coldly and keep a distance with me? Now I seem to gradually understand that not everyone live in the way as you expect and what we solely need to do is that behave ourselves well and move forward regardless of the surrounding people and matters. After all, life is a stage and we are all the actors in our own life. Consequently, smile and be optimistic, enjoying our life to the fullest!
At last, I hope the memories last, even if contact is lost, just as the sentence says!
