Baby Cat

I have a cat. His name is Mimi, yes, it's "He". But very often I mistake my baby cat as "She", a little beautiful princess instead of a handsome prince out of his delicate prettiness.

Mimi came to the family three and a half years ago, in October, when I moved into the new house. I remember the temperature started falling at that time. I took Mimi home. He was already four months old. But he was so small and very thin. His fore keeper didn't want to feed him any more and just swept him away from the house. Luckily one of my colleagues found him and brought him to me. His left or right back leg I can't remember exactly had a wound, inflamed and swollen. His hair was still baby's that time, soft but dull, not smooth either. I took him to the hospital. I didn't know to cut his fingernails then. I was scratched by him. Finally Mimi got recovered and vaccines injected. He became a white soft cloud after bath. See his picture below. Three black lines were obvious on his forehead. Once I was upset Mimi was not a complete white boy.

Not sure from when, Mimi grew up. The black lines of the forehead became lighter and lighter. In a summer vacation, Mimi was fostered for the first time. It is really hard to describe the parents' feelings to let others taking care of your baby. I'm worried during the whole holiday. I couldn't control myself to think if Mimi had his means, or whether his poo was normal. I contacted the adopter almost every day, asking the condition of Mimi, though he rarely responsed me. Even now I am still worried once Mimi is fostered again, relieving than before but only a little. Return back to the subject. Vacation finally ended. I went to the adoption center to bring Mimi back. There were so many cats there. But, I saw Mimi in the first eye. No reason, only familiarity. Familiar to the blood. The little bad guy didn't recognize me! It depressed me for a while. When arrived home, the boy came back to be naughty again, stopping  howling, walking around the whole house and inspecting his territory.

Baby cat isn't a baby now. The little boy has grown up. When he stands up, he is as tall as my hip, a big giant fat cat. No matter what he looks like, he is always my good boy, little sweet baby cat.
