读书感悟：
这章真的读的好难过，太沉重了。John和他的父亲真正能好好的相处也是后来他知道他父亲的患有孤独症的时候，可是等到John打算做点什么的时候却已经太晚了，父亲因为心脏病越来越虚弱。
或许这是每个人都要经历的，失去最亲的人。只希望时间慢点温柔对待我身边的人。John的父亲真的很伟大，他的点点滴滴都表达了他的爱！最后，还是去了疗养院，这是John最后一次见父亲。一别即是永别，所以我们应该珍惜现在的时光。
1. He wanted to fly home immediately, or at least call her. But he didn't, the only action was to retrieve the letter he'd crumpled. He straightened it as best he could, stuffed it back in the envelope, and decided to carry it with him like a wound he'd received in battle.
2.Baghdad fell.
3. Back to Germany. Yes, Tony was given a discharge and more of his' guys were honorably discharged in late 2003. And his' squad was full of newbies.
4. In spring 2004. Because his friends gone, and he wanted to devote himself to his dad as best as he could
He asked for transfer again in June 2005, because his father became worsen.
5. Continue to worsen, John's father's heart had sustained major damage. No, he didn't. He just wanted to stay at home.
