However, pitfalls accompany premises. Chief among these is the insecurity. Whether self-employed people can earn profits depends on the business conditions,which means the earnings vary enormously, compared with the relative fixed income when working for others.Furthermore, if the business flounders, they are confronted with  larger losses since they are held  accountable for them. On top of that, it is debatable whether  more freedom can be  conferred on them, given the fact that they have to deal with various aspects by themselves, ranging from engaging with clients to human interaction.In such case, they may as well leave little time for family and friends, which might wreak havoc on their relationships. Hence, the breakdown of marriages or friendships.
