Poem from the hill


As the bird prepared to leave the hills

I placed a petal in its beak

A message for the young man

beyond the valley

The mountain-flowers are in bloom

当鸟儿就要飞下山去的时候

我放一片花瓣在它的嘴里

让它告诉那谷口的少年

山花已盛开
