Feeling after reading Part Ⅷ

         In the third part of the book, Spencer Johnson, the author arranged a critical discussion for the former classmates with the intention of drawing a valuable conclusion, he carefully arranged the narrative way of the discussion, the problems were thrown out one after another.

          Form the first one to the final one:“Who are you in the story? Sniff, Scurry, Hem or Haw?”“How many people are afraid of change?” “What would you do if you weren’t afraid?”“In the changing time what do we need to let go of and move on to?” “How do we savor the adventure and move with the Cheese?” the discussion was led to a depth step–by–step.

         Eventually the author drew a conclusion and gave some solutions through Michael’s story：In the organization, let the four characters to be treated differently.The  Sniffs worked in the place that recognized change and adapted in time.The Scurrys were encouraged and rewarded to take actions based on the new vision.The Hems were allowed to work in ccordance with their nature, and by increasing their sense of security, turned the more Hems into the Haws.

         I admire the author’s controlling of the discussion, there seems no blunt and far-fetched sense, and everything is well–placed. It is very much expected how the author will continue to arrange the next discussion, lead it in depth, draw the conclusions and serve the theme.
