It is never too late to apologize!
As far as I know, foreigners are so much into saying sorry or excuse me. They did it when coughing in public; when crossing somebody's side; whenever.
Actually what I see from my friend Na is that she seldomly says it but she will make amends after something disturbing she has done instead of saying sorry. She is not a kind of person who is saying sorry at mouth. Actually, what she did works. The food she gave and the words she said take effects profoundly.
