This is a story about a mouse named, Geronimo. He lives In Mouse Island. One morning he decided to relax himself from the rat race for a while. So he decided to have a vacation, and he wondered the blue sky, sandy beaches and beautiful hotels. But instead he was taken into another travel agency named Trust me, you will like it! by his cousin.
This is the beginning of the story. This agency send him to a place he never expected. With a terrible journey by airplane, he landed on his destination. He find his hotel by a bicycle after the long dark, wet way. When he thought that he can finally take a shower and have a delicious super. But what waiting for him were stink food and a bathroom filled with cockroach.
In this horrible city, he had a so different adventure. He swam with sharks, went bungee jumping, had a deep sea diving, had free-fall parachuting… Those are what he never thought about. And he was treated as a mat mouse. He was regreting all the way. All of those made him exhausted and frustrated.
You know? All the tales have a happy ending. When he came back home, he talked the things to his friends and colleagues, everything becames so funny, and it makes everybody laugh. Geronimo decided to write down his adventure into a book.
I can feel how upset, and how desperate Geronimo felt during the trip. But when everything becames a story, things turn to funny and interesting. It makes me think about my real life. Sometimes things we are going through are tough. But all we need to do is face it, accept it, and deal with it. They are the treasures in our life. And it will give us more than we expected.
