The Spring Festival is coming！
The Spring Festival is very important in China
It usually comes in February,
but sometimes it comes in January.
This year it is at February 5th.
About it
This year is the year of the dog in the lunar calendar,
but the new year is the year of the pig in the lunar calendar.

A few days before The Spring Festival,
people clean their house and sweep bad luck away.

We always buy a lot of food before the festival.
And the shopkeeper is so happy.

About 2 days before the festival,
people leave their work for hometown.
And their is a big Spring Festival travel rush.
(The another name is "passenger transport around the Chinese lunar new year")

We celebrate The Spring Festival with a tradition family dinner.
We always eat jiaozi——a kind of dumpling.

After the dinner, we usually watch a special programme on TV.
About 1,000,000,000 watch it.

On the first day of the new year,we wear new clothes.
We visit our friends and relatives.

And children always get a hongbao.
It means lucky money~
