So today I am sharing with you what I saw and did at Royal Easter Show. This event lasted from 6 to 19 Apr in Sydney and as every year, it has attracted an overwhelmingly large number of visitors from home and abroad. Tammy is always so thoughtful that she had already ordered the entry tickets as well as coupons of Coca-Cola Carnival in advance, which really helped us save a lot of time and money. Let’s march on!
Considering there would be a lot of stuff to visit, it was wiser to make choice of where to go and not, otherwise, it would only become a whistle-stop tour. So we have designed our route from the very beginning: Pet Pavilion/ see animals – Woolworths Food Farm/ have snacks and a break - Coca-Cola Carnival/ play rides and games – Flower & Garden Pavilion/see flowers and vegetables – Spotless Stadium/ watch motorcycle performance & firework show.
The numerous animal pavilions turned out to be an eye-opening experience and we were amazed by the large collection of poultry, sheep, cattle, horses and pigs. Although the performance of sheep shearing seemed somehow dull and boring, we managed to learn how the fleece was produced and that the term of the special scissors was called “blades” by local people. After tasting juicy cheese burger pies, Tammy and I found our way to the carnival, which was worth a visit indeed. Faced with so many amusement facilities, I primarily got somehow anxious. It was nice that Tammy accompanied me so that I could be braver to enjoy exceptionally thrilling programs including the Beast, Sky Flyer, Crazy Spinning Coaster, the Escape of the Zombie and 9D Cinema, which were full of fun and excitement. Especially, I love the Pirates Revenge! This wonderful day was ended by watching the spectacular fireworks which featured dramatic effects and color-changing schemes accompanied by dynamic pop music.
It appears that all wonderful things just go by too fast, so I cherish every fond memory and resolve to give my best for the coming battle! You can make it, my dear Eva!
